Mena Alexandra suvari born February 13, 1979, in America is an actress, fashion designer and a model. In 1990, shortly after beginning her career as a model, Suvari started acting in TV shows like Boy Meets World. Her first film role in the 1997 drama Nowhere. Her performances on American Beauty - for which the actress was nominated get an award called a BAFTA Award - and American Pie that earned her greater attention as she stepped into more prominent roles. She has appeared with the co-star of American Pie Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) and then played the role of lead in Sugar & Spice (2001). She also was a part in Spun the drama that was made by an independent studio as well as the 2004 thriller, Trauma. The other films she appeared in include HBO's series Six Feet Under. In 2008, she was cast in a string of films which included Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh as well as the film adaptation of The Garden of Eden. Suvari has been a modeling model for Lancome cosmetics and print ads of Lancome Paris Adaptive and has been featured in several magazines and fashion blogs including Vogue. She has long been an advocate and supporter of the African Medical and Research Foundation. In addition, she's involved in charitable organizations that fight breast cancer, and End Violence Against Women. Most well-known is her roles in TV shows including Dark Angel Heroes the Chris Isaak Show Black Sash Reaper or Rookie Blue. She has appeared in high-profile items such as Mercedes-Benz Sprint Canada or the Olympics. Missy's filmography includes Backcountry, Something Red, and Wide Awake. She did a great job on all of them, and was an actress of the caliber she is. The heart of Missy is large. She likes to spend her free time to participate in various charitable activities. The group she's in is comprised of non-politic people who are dedicated to the creation and distribution of low-cost safety footwear in South America. The Leo Awards nominee has also received the Streamy Awards for Best Actress.
