She was born 1st March 1980, within Moscow. Her parents are Russian economist Tatyana Semenovich as well as Gregory T. the Director of the Fur Company. As a child she fell down ill, and after spending six months in hospital he was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. It was his career as a skater with Denis Samokhin that made him well-known. The two teams competed at the Junior World Championships, where they were placed eighth and seventh each in 1993. The year 1994 saw her briefly collaborated in a brief partnership with Maxim Kachanov. They were ranked 5th at the Goodwill Games. She then team up with Vladimir Fedorov. The partnership was equally effective, since the team took home the Finlandia Trophy on two occasions and competed at the Grand Prix of Figure Skating. They also achieved more as a team, but their best moment was finishing 15th in 1998's World Championships.
