Rashida Jones

Rashida Jones was born in Los Angeles, California to Quincy Jones, a media producer and mogul, as well as Peggy Lipton, Rashida is the younger sister of actress Peggy Lipton and Quincy Jones. Kidada Jones is her elder sister. She also has five half-siblings from the other relationships her father had with his family. Her father is African American and her mother Ashkenazi Jewish (a descendant emigrants from Russia and Latvia). Rashida was raised in Reform Judaism. She was raised in Bel Air Los Angeles, California. Jones stated that her mixed-race parentage was not accepted by society until the 1970s.
