Emily Swallow

American actress Emily Swallow, born December 18th 1979. She is most famous for her role in The Mentalist's Kim Fischer and Supernatural's 11th season as Amara The Darkness. She was also the Armorer in Star Wars' live-action series The Mandalorian. Emily played one small part in The Last of Us Part II. Swallow was born on December 18 1979 in Washington, D.C. She was raised in Sterling, Virginia and Jacksonville, Florida. While at Stanton College Preparatory School in Jacksonville and then at Stanton College Preparatory School in Jacksonville, she began to act in various college, amateur professional and amateur stage productions. Swallow received a BA in Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Virginia in 2001. She pursued her studies for an MFA in Acting at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts in Acting. She was the star of the world premiere of Donald Margulies’ play The Country House at Los Angeles’ Geffen Playhouse. She also appeared alongside Mark Rylance in Louis Jenkinsin the production of Nice Fish at Guthrie Theatre. In the year 2010 she won the Falstaff Award as best female performer for her role in The Taming of the Shrew. She also performed alongside Jac Huberman in Jac N Swallow's musical Romantic Poetry at the Manhattan Theater Club. The show is about the hilarious adventures of Jac Huberman and Swallow when they confront a variety of issues in their lives to various degrees of success.
